There’s no doubt about it, the juicing market is exploding and expanding in every direction. Movies like “Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead” have sparked a juicing renaissance and in 2015 there is more choice than ever in the juicing world.
The number of home juicers being sold is on the rise and many new brands and models of juicer are appearing. Juicer prices are falling as companies compete for market share. Good news for us juicers because we end up paying less but sometimes more choice makes it harder to make decisions.
It’s the same when it comes to juicing books. There seems to be a new juicing book out each week and many people are publishing their own juicing books on platforms like Amazon Kindle and the Apple Book Store. However, sometimes you just want a good old-fashioned paper book that you can pick up and read. You know… one that doesn’t need recharging and one that doesn’t alert you each time someone updates their Facebook!
There is a huge choice of juicers available today and while choice is always a good thing it can be hard to decide which juicer is best for you.
The number one thing that drives most of us when deciding which juicer to buy is our budget. A lot of people don’t have lots of money to spend in this economic climate. Of course some of us are luckier and have more money to spend on a juicer. Decide how much you can afford to spend first because this will most likely determine which type of juicer you end up buying.
When you’re buying a juicer you may want to consider this list of the top selling juicers on Amazon. This list was compiled from juicers sold in the United States. If you’re in another country some of these models may not be available.
Please remember that just because a juicer sells in large quantities doesn’t mean it’s a great juicer. Cheaper models often make it into the top seller lists because more people buy cheaper models than expensive ones. You should always check the rating and reviews before parting with your hard earned money and always buy the best juicer you can afford.
You will see that there are more centrifugal juicers on the list than masticating juicers. This is because masticating models tend to be more expensive and so sell in smaller numbers. There are still however, some great masticating juicers on this list like the Omega J8006 and Omega VRT350, both of which I personally recommend.
